My name is Omar Rosas Mantano, and my friends know me as Pelon. I am from and live in Caborca, Mexico, in Sonora. I am blessed to have many family members around me here in Caborca. I am very proud to come from this area of wonderful people and hunting heritage. Having spent many years on ranches, I have learned to love the wild desert and its animals. Almost ten years ago, while working on a ranch near Caborca, I met a group of deer hunters who hired me to help them during their hunt. Having started as a driver and cook, then progressing to spotter, and now as a guide, I have found my true outdoor love: hunting. Most important to me is helping hunters locate and successfully take both Coues and Mule deer. After these last ten years of hunting with some of the great desert hunters of Sonora I am proud to confidently start my hunting company, Bald Top Outfitters. I want to thank all those who have given me the opportunity to learn, especially SPH, and the many hunters I have been blessed to get to know over the years.
